We spent two nights in Hue, not alot to report really we visited a few sights - the Citadel and Forbidden Purple City. We took a cyclo back as it was a bit of a walk and very hot.

The second day we took a boat trip along the Song Huong (Perfume) River. We got our own boat for $8 for an hour and a half. The woman on the boat spent the first half an hour trying to sell us shirts, paintings and beer. They even had a deadly little puppy on board. It was a good way to spend the afternoon lying around on the boat in the sun...perfect. Afterwards we treated ourselves to some cocktails (expensive ones)in a very expensive hotel.

Nice place for a rest - and to break up the journey from Hoi An to Hanoi.
