All the trains were booked up this morning, so the bus it was. A mad dash was required to get there on time. We spent 6hrs on the bus with Pete who we had met the night b4 & a lovely couple,(James from Scotland & his Misses Marie from Canada). We had no accomodation sorted so we went with James & Marie to theirs. Turned out to be perfect with great rooms.
We went to see the Teracotta Warriors the next day, some people are mad, but this emperor was off his trolley!!! He believed by burying a few thousand clay men with him, they would protect him from the evil spirits. MUPPETT!!!! They are pretty cool looking and work a visit. On the way home we went to a silk factory & saw how they take the silk from the worm, also very interesting.
The next morning we all woke with sore heads after a night on the beer watching Utd beat Celtic. We strolled around the town for a few hrs until we had to catch our train to Shanghai. This time we travelled in class, Soft sleeper. 19hrs and we needed the sleep & comfort.
