We wake in the morning and decide to do a bike ride around town to a few local attractions. The cafe we stop at for break has a map and bicycles for hire, awesome, the adventure begins.

First we had to ride through the city navigate the local mayhem they call traffic, trucks dodging buses, cars dodging scooters and we are dodging everything in front of us including pedestrians. Who a laugh, they use horns to communicate we use our bells on the bicycles. We head out of town to visit a huge temple with lots of smaller ones around it.

Next we head to man and women hill, we arrive and wow a very long slight uphill after a pretty log ride. It tires us out we have to stop a few times on the way up as the humidity also drains us. We reach the top to another great temple, some cheeky monkeys and the man and women hill, we sit and rest and enjoy the scenery. We chat to a local tourism guide who fills us in on some of the sights and laughs at our red faces from the ride.

We sit in the temple with some of the older monks as one chants, we sit in ore of the Buddha statues in front of us, we make a donation to the monks and head back into town. Rinse off our sweaty ride and prepare for the afternoon ride.

We meet our friend from Kampong Cham, Mary who decides to take the next mission on with us. Mary grabs a bicycle and we head for the bamboo bridge and the island on the other side. We reach the bridge, it is bamboo and it is very long and very very wobbly to say the least on the other side $1US for the tourists to cross which includes your return trip. We cycle across bamboo flicking and wobbling beneath us we finally make to the other side, very tiring ride on the bridge as it is very hard to peddle on the bamboo but also very fun and funny all rolled in one!

We then tour the village on the other side riding around to the smiles of all the locals and the kids screaming HALLLOOOO when they see us, great place to visit. We spend an hour or so riding around and decide to head back after a beer in a local food bar. We head back to town to clean up and meet our friend Dave who is riding his dirt bike around Asia with his new found mate from Adelaide (Dean), we met Dave in Laos, computer fixing at our Bungalow. We meet Dave have some food drink some local stout and pile down a few cocktails (black russians) and a margarita which was absolute shit, YUCK! Not the cocktails fault just the maker!

Tomorrow we head for Phnom Penh.
