Wow.. is all we can say so far about New Zealand! This is such a beautiful country, and the only way to see it properly is to get in a van and travel, so we are very lucky and happy that we decided to travel this way.

After leaving Peel Forest, we headed further inland towards Mount Cook (the tallest mountian in Australiasia). We stopped off at Lake Tekapo which has a lovely wee old fashioned church (Church of the Good Sheppard) on the water's edge, a when in the chapel you can see the snow capped mountains and their reflection in the lake through the wee window at the back of the alter (can't include pictures as this is a place of worship and out of respect we did not take our camera out, although picture will give you an idea)

We ended up stopping at Lake Pukaki on the way to Mount Cook and did most of our viewing from there as the view from there was unbelievable and as we headed up the road from Lake Pukaki towards Mount Cook, we realised that we would only be looking straight up and would not be able to see it as well as we could from a distance, and as either of us had no intention of climbing it, we opted to turn around and move on towards Dunedin Moeraki Boulders

.

We decided to stop on the way to Dunedin and camp on the beach beside Te Kaihinaki (meaning Ancient Boulders) These were basically old boulders that were just sitting in the middle of the beach, they were quite strange which actually made them quite cool, although Paul wasn't too impressed (apparantly they are just big rocks), but I am on a photography kick at the moment and anything even remotely interestling is grabbing my attention and quickly filling up the memory on our laptop, not to mention Paul having to stop at every hole in the hedge, or me hanging out the window if we can't stop, so I can take another photo because the view has changed slighly - Ah well, it will all be worth it when we look back over our photos.
