Back in Australia

Hello to everyone.

We are back in Australia.

We arrived back on Mon 11th of September at 11.15am. Shane was there to pick us up from the airport and bring us back to Homer (So different then the last time we arrived).

When we arrived back at Homer.... he wouldn't start. So the first thing we had to do in Australia was go to K Mart and buy a battery.

However their is an upside as we now have a spare battery fully charged and we can use it for watching TV etc (Well.. Champions league matches at 4am in morning)

We had a relatively quiet week. Catching up with Shane, and Phil and Julie before they left for New Zealand.

It was quite handy we were back when we were, as Phil and Julie got a buyer for their car (Big Red) in Noosa which was approx 100km north of Brisbane, and therefore we were able to bring them back to South Brisbane where they were staying with Friends. Yes 4 people in Homer. Myself and Phil in front and Ciara and Julie lying on the mattress in the back.

The 2 of them leave today for 6 weeks in New Zealand, and i am sure it will not be long before we see them again... somewhere.

The rest of the week we spent between Petrie (Our old home) and Scarborough, where Shane was staying. There was a lovely view of the Glasshouse mountains at that site.

We also got to meet Shane's new girlfriend, Kylie (not very Australian...) who was lovely and we stayed over in her house for a night of drinks, plus we had our first proper Australian BBQ. Typical Australian house with Swimming pool, pool table, bar etc.

The weather is absolutely gorgeous here at the moment - in the mid 20's (And we still have summer to come) We have also been invited up to Kylie's for Christmas, which is a great option to have.

We decided at the end of last week that we had to get a move on with our travelling... and god forbid, find some work.

Well we are now in New South Wales, arriving this morning, Mon 18th. We are currently in Byron Bay and will be working our way down to Sydney over next week.We will get all the Thailand photos added on over next day or so, as there are some great ones.
