We arrived in Mackay the day before my birthday and stayed in a free campsite just 30 minutes from Mackay. We stayed beside the Pony club stands and generally just ate and got drunk to celebrate the 8th anniversary of my 21st Birthday.
The next morning was spent recovering and myself and Ciara went to the Cinema to watch Pirates of the Carribean 2. Excellent show - we would recommend it.
Back to camp, where Julie and Phil had dinner made and then we had birthday cake and Champagne on the Pony Club stands.
The following day we moved on towards Airlie beach.....
