Hi

Oh goodness! We can't quite get this sleeping thing right! Up again at 3am...AARRRGGGHHH.

Yesterday was a quick day due to the time difference - left LA at 8.45am and arrived in New York 5 hours later at 5pm. We had a great flight with JetBlue - good airline - very friendly - loads of legroom. Free snacks and drinks and TV in every seat.

Oh, our taxi driver in LA started taking us to LAX - we were leaving from Burbank - in the opposite direction - good thing we are cluey and knew where we were going - imagine if you ended up at the wrong airport -  and hour and a half away!

We are over the shared ride shuttles - oh they are so rude and stinky! Only one more to catch  as we will probably get the subway to JFK next week - have to do a reccy on that one...

414 hotel is very cosy - we are on the second floor overlooking the courtyard in between the two buildings. Great position - only two blocks to Times Square. Can't believe how quiet it is - if only we could sleep!

Had dinner at the Joshua Tree Bar - very nice - great food and little booths - nice and quiet. Had a quick squiz at Times Square and spent some time in the Virgin Mega-store which has a sale on as they are closing down - not sure why???

Quite cold although Paul isn't feeling it - about 5 deg when we were out last night. Carolyn will have all guns blazing in the winter woolie department tomorrow!

Bye!
