I awake with Nic tapping my head i suppose they are worse ways in which to be woken. We get a bus so far to the hostel but the directions are crap so we get off and get a taxi the rest of the way. The hostel is really nice, with really friendly staff and a row of sofas where you can just sit and relax, which we seem to be champions of at present. Room again is really nice, we've been lucky so far as they've all been to a good standard. We walk around the surrounding area with a market right next door and i see some distressing sights to animals especially dogs with loads just crammed into cages with no room for them to move and being picked up by their ears. There's even turtles piled up on one another. Later on we walk all the way into town where we're hoping I'm ashamed to say to find a Pizza Hut, my excuse being that i haven't had any cheese since traveling and I'm seriously bored of rice and noodles. It is an amazing experience after 1 1/2 hours of walking when we finally see one and it does exactly what i want it to do, i even have a cheese crust just to make sure i feel the full effects of the cheese. I expect the journey back to be a doddle but this is not the case as for 1/2 hour we don't know where we are in Nanjing and are walking aimlessly, i eventually work it out (as always) and get us hope safely having a beer nightcap for the stress.
