Hello Hamilton, Surprise, surprise we have come to Paris (pronounced Pare-ee). We were going to visit Michele Modafarri in Milan, but he was not prepared (something about having the red carpet steam cleaned). We figured, to hell with it, lets get to Paris before it's too hot and starts to smell. We took a super fast train and got here Saturday night. The city is enormous, even having been to NYC. We went to the Musee d'Orsay yesterday, and saw works of Art by Renoir, Gaugin, Monet, and Van Gogh. It was wild to see shit you have only seen in books and t.v. up close. There are metal detectors in all of the museums and sights, so I can't carry my blade in the day time. At night, however, I'm packing. We also went to Versaille, yesterday. It was a 30min. train ride from the city. We saw the Palace of Versaille, and it was incredible. Louis XIV (the sun king) built it for himself with the taxpayers' money. He has a ton of self-portraits (even with angels and babies pointing at him in awe and admiration), and we walked through the 'Hall of Mirrors,' which he built to stare at himself. This is where the Treaty of Versaille was signed. We returned to the city and had a few beers, then headed to the Eiffel Tower. It was surrounded by immigrants selling key chains and trying to steal your wallet. It was grand, located right beside the river, and with a massive park on the other side. Today we are headed for more attractions, and will talk to you soon. Zip. Peace. P&J.
