I had forgotten that it'd been a while since I'd updated. Since last time, I've been to several places at a relaxed pace. I've returned to the Naschmarkt several more times, because it's always awesome. I found a place that sells falafel dürüms (a crude comparison would be a falafel burrito), and that was awesome. I went to the Museum für angewandte Kunst (Applied/Practical Arts), which was cool, and a film crew asked me to walk past some chairs. I went to the Historical Museum of Vienna at Karlsplatz, which was quite interesting and had a few Klimt and Schiele works hiding in the top. I wanted to go into the Wagner Pavillion, but it wasn't open, so I instead went inside the Karlskirche, which has a huge elevator in the middle of it so you can get most of the way to the top (you have to climb slightly rickety stairs to the very top). I later went to the Wagner Museum in the Postsparkasse (postal savings bank), which had a lot of information about the architect. He's cool.
This past weekend, while avoiding my Psychology paper, I went back to the Augarten on Easter, which looks a lot prettier in the spring than in the winter. I then went to meet a friend to see Die Zauberflöte (Magic Flute) at the Volkstheater (people's theater) but it was sold out. I then heard about an Easter market going on at Schönbrunn Palace, but I got there too late. I did walk through the gardens just for a few minutes, since they too look better in the spring than winter.
Monday I went to the Zentralfriedhof (central graveyard....
I also saw The Third Man, which, as you may know, takes place in this city. It's a great movie, and all the scenes shot on location are just great. You can totally see the Maria am Gestade Kirche and Ruprechtskirche, and the guy lives across the street from the Hofburg. And the American character stays in Hotel Sacher and meets another guy in Mozart Cafe, which I stopped by months ago. I was also pleased to see that the love interest's cat actually played a part in the plot.

Alpine Gardens 1
located on the very edge of town), the largest graveyard in Europe by "population" and second-largest in size. I wandered around a very, very long time and did find a lot of famous graves, but missed several ones I really wanted to see (foremost, Falco). I did find the composer's section, featuring the whole Strauss family, Beethoven, Brahms, Schubert, and so on. Therefore, I went back today after consulting a map (as there aren't any there). I'm glad I did. I found the cool part of the Jewish section, which is sadly rather untended, due to a lack of descendants in the area. Right at the front of it is Arthur Schnitzler's grave, which I somehow missed before. I also found the Buddhist section, which I had previously walked right by. Then I walked over to a part I swear I had walked past the first time, and I saw the great beacon of wonder that is Falco's grave. Pretty hard to miss. Just for fun, on the way back, I stopped in the Alpine Gardens, which were closed when my family and I had previously gone to the Belvedere and Botanical Gardens. Also cool.I also saw The Third Man, which, as you may know, takes place in this city. It's a great movie, and all the scenes shot on location are just great.
