Friedensreich Hundertwasser is incredible. I'd never heard of him before coming here, but apparently his work is considered one of the greatest contributions to Viennese architecture. I stopped by the "Hundertwasser Haus", a naturally-designed, unevenly-floored public housing project that he didn't even take payment for. There's a souvenir-filled little "village" just across the way designed in the same manner, and then there's a museum with a large permanent gallery of his paintings and other work just down the road, also in the same style. It's great stuff. I love how environmentalist he is. I've taken the U-Bahn past the incinerator he redesigned up in the north of town several times, so it was great to experience his work a little closer. Great stuff.

Chocolate
I didn't realize that you, too, are a chocoholic! I was a bit behind in reading your blog and just caught up. That chocolate store looks like my vision of Heaven! What an awesome experience this has already been for you. Thanks for sharing it with everyone. Aunt Martie
