Hello everybody. I don't leave for another five days, but I wanted to do a bit of an introductory post before I left and/or forgot. I know this trip won't be quite as exciting and dynamic as my study abroad in Vienna, but still, I figure there will be room for a couple adventures and maybe a post here and there.
So: the nature of my trip is that there is a program housed at my university called the International Business Internship Exchange (IBIE). The program started as a Missouri - Baden-Württemberg exchange and expanded to include other countries, but what with my interest in Germany, it made sense to me to stick to the roots. Thus, for two months I will work at an internship near the city of Villingen-Schwenningen. Specifically, I will work at Marquardt GmbH in Rietheim-Weilheim and I will live with a host family in Böttingen.
Since I suspect I will have a bit of free time when not working, I plan to continue writing on my other blog, Patrick's Music Reviews (http://patricksmusic.blogspot.com/). Beyond that, only time will tell.
