No hay palabras: un paraje maravilloso, con rocas gigantes, palmeras y templos preciosos en ruinas.
Estuvimos paseando, ralajados, admirando el entorno y disfrutando de la gente. Me parecía estar en el escenario de "El libro de la selva" (aunque está más bien localizado en Calcuta).
También tuvimos mucha suerte con el hotel, muy bonito, con nuestro bungalow con hamaquita y vistas estupendas a los arrozales, donde comimos muy bien y descansamos de nuestros largos paseos. Es gracioso como nos tenían a los turistas al otro lado del río, como retirados de la ciudad, y con toque de queda, lo que a veces te hacía sentir como aislado de la vida local (aunque con la ventaja de poder tomar una cervecita).
Aquí también nos despedimos de Sandra, que se volvía ya a Barcelona con toda la pena y rabia de no poder acompañarnos a la playa. Lo pasamos muy muy bien estos días.

We left the beach althought we didn't want to go to Hampi, highly recommended place. The bus journey was quite terrible (again coffin) but at the end we realized that it worth it, what an amazing place, Hampi!
Lovely landscape, massive rocks, palm trees and old temples, where one can get lost for hours and be delighted with the views. It was like being in 'The jungle book' (I know, that was in Kolkata).
We were lucky also with the hotel, quite nice, a great bungalow with an hammock with views to the ricefields. There we could have a rest from our long walks and enjoy lovely food. It is funny how most of the hotels are in the other side of the river, far from the city center and with a corfew from 6 pm. So we were isolated at night but well, it has advantages... we could have beer!
Also Sandra finished her trip there before going back to Barcelona. A shame for her because it was quite an exciting trip and also because she really wanted to go with us again to the beach. We had a great time here!
