The arriving into Delhi was not as great as expected. The hotel was not very good and the area was not quite nice (the main bazaar is not a lovely place). So, to avoid the panic of the girls coming, I decided to look for another option according to our budgets (such a big deal).
That night finished quite well as I met Rangit, Ulrika's friens that showed me the other side of India, a very nice Delhi and a tasty indian food. But I won't never forgive him to meet in the fab Imperial Hotel, so so far from the crab hostels in Paharganj.
And then the girls arrived!! finally all together and with Lorraine, who is going to share adventures with us in India. Unfortunately, the country welcome her with a "Delhi belly" and my poor thing had to stay for a couple of days in bed.
So Sandra and I went for sightseeing in Old Delhi... we couldn't get into the fort because we had to leave our bags in the entrance, we coudln't get into the mosque because it was praying time... we could get into Raj Ghat to see Ghandi's mausoleum... and then the afternoon with Rangit who showed us New Delhi and told us about life and culture in the city. And in the evening, dinner and drinks in cool places with this man full of energy. Thanks a lot, Rangit! You made us feel as princesses!!
