Volvi a Kathmandu, al hotel Florid donde estaba tan agusto, al bullicio de Thamel... un pequeño pero ruidoso refugio para los turistas donde todavia pensamos que es posible relajarse... aqui nos volvemos a encontrar todos, despues de los trekkings y de las aventuras por Nepal. Todos hemos pasado por aqui antes pero cuando volvemos nos sorprende todo el ruido y el gentio de las calles. Y, al final, nos encontramos agusto en este barrio donde nos vemos todos los dias, vamos a tomar algo o a cenar mientras charlamos de nuestras experiencias en Nepal o de nuestros futuros planes. Todo esto bañado por el festival y sus luces y fuegos artificiales. Feliz nuevo año nepales!!

Aproveche para hacer algunas excursiones a Patan (Lalitpur) y Bakthapur con Elisa y Elena, ver templos, pasear por las calles y ver algunos rincones de la ciudad mas autenticos, con el movimiento y la conglomeracion de gente.

Sandra aprovecho el festival para volver un finde a la civilizacion. Comida rica, compritas tras el regateo feroz y paseo de despedida por Durbar Sq.

De aqui, directa a la India, ultimo destino del viaje.

I went back to Kathmandu, to Florid Hotel where I've been very comfortable, to Thamel noise... Thamel is a small and noisy refugee for tourists where we think that is still possible to chill... and we meet again after the trekks and other adventures within Nepal. We had already been there but it is funny how after being in other places we found Kathmandu so noisy. But at the end it is ok for us and it is nice to meet everyday, having a drink and talk about our experiences or future plans. And all under the festival lights and fireworks. Happy nepali new year!

I made some excursions to Patan (Lalitpur) and Bhaktapur with Elisa and Elena, we saw temples, walked in the street and saw some interesting corners in the city, with all the movement and a lot of people.

Sandra came also for the weekend. Good food, shopping and bargaing and waving goodbye to Durbar Sq.

From here to India, last destination in the trip!
