Allí reencontré a Phil, un amigo de Bélgica que no veía desde hacía unos 7 años y que amablemente nos alojó en su cabaña al lado del mar y nos colmó de atenciones y simpatía. Tal y como lo recordaba... me ha alegrado mucho verle y compartir con él nuestra tranquilidad y buena onda en este lugar.
¡Mil gracias por todo, Phil y Marcela! Por recibirnos, por la buena onda y por introducirnos en la cultura del surf.
Phil: gracias por mostrarme que otra vida sí es posible. Me parece fantástica tu forma de vida, tu profesión como fotógrafo y el lugar, que no te exige lujos y en el que se puede vivir sin las pretensiones de la gran ciudad
Punta de Lobos
. Maravillosa tu oficina... no puedo evitar quedarme absolutamente embobada con las olas y su sonido al romper.La verdad es que hemos disfrutado mucho del Pacífico y de la cultura del surf, de la que nos hemos empapado.
Y, por supuesto, ¡tomamos nuestra primera lección! fue muy divertido y seguramente una experiencia que repetiremos en otros lugares, ya que nuestra ruta está llena de sitios para surfear.
Yo me quedaría una temporadita en este tranquilo lugar, acompañada del mar, el surf y el Pisco Sour, pero la aventura tiene que continuar...

After a long night in a bus from Pucon we finally arrived to Pichilemu, a small village by the sea, famous because of surf.
There I met Phil after 7 years (I met him in Belgium during my Erasmus). So we could stay in his house with amazing views of the Pacific and he was very kind with us
Punta de Lobos
. So funny as I remenmber him. I'm very happy with this visit, with sharing with him these great moments in the coast! Thanks a lot, Marcela and Phil, for introducing us to the surf culture!!Phil: thanks for showing me that another life is possible. I found your lifestyle and profession great, andthe place is amazing: so quiet and without the luxuries that the city impose...
And I really loved your office... I can't stop looking at the waves and hear the amazing sound when they break.
And of course, we received our first surf lesson! It was very funny and an experience that we will probably repeat in our trip.
I could easily stay for a few days more... with the sea, the surf and the Pisco Sour... but the adventure must go on.
