We did have some fog roll in and obscure the view of two of the lighthouses but it was neat to actually see the fog bank roll in just like you've seen on tv
After the tour, we took the tender boat (Bar Harbor itself doesn't have a cruise ship terminal so we're anchored in the bay)back to town to walk down Main Street and do some shopping. It had more stores than I expected for a small town but I suppose with cruise ships arriving all summer and fall, they can do a very good business. It was agan a beautiful sunny day with temps around 18-20 degrees.
Notes about the ship/Princess: The Emerald Princess has a large outdoor video screen to show movies in the evening but today - Sunday - it was showing NFL games. The image is quite good even in bright sunshine.
If you want a robe for wearing around the stateroom, you have to ask for one. But the one I was brought was almost too small and wafer thin!
There are machines to print your current bill near passenger services - you don't have to ask them to print it. But your bill isn't available on the stateroom tv. And the tv doesn't have a current location/weather channel like NCL or Celebrity ships have.
The waiters on deck 15 for the buffet will serve you coffee and water - you don't have to serve yourself. Very nice change from NCL and Celebrity.
For dinner I had:
Deep fried sushi with bacardi wasabi emulsion
Tandori fire-roasted tiger prawns with yogurt raita & saffron Basmati rice and crisp poppadums (ie rice potato chips)
Frozen chocolate praline tort with almond florentine crisp
