We stayed in Paris for a week, getting visas for Egypt and India, buying equipment we needed for the trip and especially for the Kilimanjaro climb, you would never believe how much gear is necessary for such a short climb... Anyway, this done, we took the TGV train to see our families in L'isle sur la Sorgue and Lyon, say byebye, promise we would be careful and send postcards.

On the 03/09, finally, we had our rucksacks on our backs...
From there it hasn't been long before we were in front of Lyon's airport to take the very first plane of our trip around the world...


GOD! Here we are, we are really doing it!

Pour nos amis francophones:

Londres, est derriere nous. Deux semaines a Paris pour faire nos visas pour L'Egypte et l'Inde, finir nos achats d'equipement, particulierement pour l'ascension du Kilimanjaro, c'est d'ailleurs dingue ce qu'on a laisse comme fric au 'vieux campeur' pour cette ascension!
Un petit coup de TGV et nous voila dans nos familles pour dire au revoir, promettre d'etre prudent et d'envoyer des cartes postales.

Le 03/09/2006, nous avons enfin nos sacs sur le dos...
En un clin d'oeil, nous voila a l'aeroport de Lyon pour prendre notre premier avion...
