We're on the train departing Prague. It was definitely an adventure full of fun and mishaps that always seemed to work out in our favor! First, we arrived in Prague Tuesday afternoon to find a less than well organized train station. It took some time but we figured out the train to take to our hotel. At our hotel we were met with some strange news. The person staying in our hotel room had become very ill and so the hotel company was sending for a taxi and would be putting us up in a new room at another hotel. We were a little apprehensive to say the least. As we got into the taxi I did begin to wonder if the movie "Hostel" had just become my life. But to our chagrin, we were taken to even better accommodations! We got to stay at this cute little bed and breakfast type place. The owner there was super nice. He didn't speak English, so his solution was to keep his laptop close by with google translator up. He was kind of my favorite. Pat loved the lodge as it was covered in animal trophies. We explored the little village around the hotel named Sestajovice. We ate a Czech meal at the lodge of beefsteak and salmon. We weren't sure what all we were ordering but we took their suggestions and were extremely happy with it! The next day was Prague and it was as beautiful as everyone says! We explored the city for hours and saw the Charles Bridge, the Prague castle, and the Astronomical clock among other famous sights. We got some sweet prizzles and Pat even found a Gomez jersey for the Germany vs. Italy game! Now we're on the train heading to Bamberg to see little Tyo!
