Wine tasting in the Swan Valley

There are about 20 of us on the trip, all mainly my age and looking to have a fun day out.
The whole trip
We are going to see 4 vineyards and also have a BBQ lunch by the Swan River.
Beautiful day for a glass or two of wine!
The first vineyard we go to is beautifull and it is the owners son serving us. He had had a large night the day before and is very generous with his tasting sizes!! It is only 11am and i can see that i am going to be very drunk later!
The cheese is great!
We try 6 wines, 3 whites, 2 reds and a port. I don't buy anything as it is only the 1st vineyard, but this turns out to be a mistake as it is the nicest red wine. One of the other guys on the rip, Matt buys a bottle of port and we drink this on the bus to the next vineyard.

All the wines are very nice, and the vineyards are so beautiful, we have cheese with our wine at Lancasters and i buy a bottle of white from them, then we go to Houghtons and i get a red from them. We have sausages on the bbq at the river and the trip has provided casks of wine, so we continue to drink, i get back into Perth at 5.30pm feeling very merry and rather tired!
It was a great day out!
