I am currently in Granada, Nicaragua. I am sorry that I was not able to post because internet was really expensive or I was really busy. After Flores i took a night bus to Guatemala City. I took a taxi, which dropped me off in the middle of no where at 3 am. I was not impressed it took me another 20 min cab ride to get to the place which i wanted to go. At 5 am i caught a bus to Copan, the border crossing was really easy, it took about 10 mins to be processed and to enter Honduras.

When i arrived in Copan, I had a short nap and then went to the ruins. Copan Ruinas is much smalller then Tikal, however Copan contained lots of carvings and inscriptions in which Tikal lacks. I enjoyed Copan Ruinas alot, it was very peaceful. I went to visit the museum, as someone recemended me to go visit it. I enjoyed the museum alot, it had even more interesting inscriptions and statues.

After Copan I caught a bus at 5 am to La Ceiba. the bus ride took 8 hours. It felt really long as I spent 9 hours from flores to guatemala city, 5 hours from guatemala city to copan and another 8 hours to La Ceiba. When I arrived in La Ceiba I was tired and grumpy. I slept in La Ceiba and took the ferry the next day. When I was leaving the hotel I met a fellow Canadian from Quebec. We shared a taxi to the ferry. The Ferry ride was about a hour long.
When we arrived in Utila we were stormed by dive instructors promoting their dive shop. Felix and I stucked together and went around to a couple of dive shops until we decided on the one we wanted to go to. We both enrolled in a Padi Open Water Course, which took 4 days. This course was lots of fun and the fellow students were really nice. The class contained 7 students including myself. 2 Students were from United Stats, 4 were from Canada and there was 1 guy from France.  Over the 4 days we learnt the basics of Diving and it was amazing. The water surrounding utila are filled with lots of fish and sea life. The second largest coral reef surrounds the island.
After I completed the Open Water Course, I decided I wanted to do the Advance Open Water Course. This course was suppose to  take 2 days however I got sick and was not able to dive for 3 to 4 days. Once I felt a bit bitter I completed the course. When diving I saw dolphins, turtles, eels, eagle rays, a ton of fish, and the most amazing coral I have ever seen. Utila is an awesome place to learn how to dive. I enjoyed my 2 weeks on this island, however the last 3 to 4 days a tropical storm hit the island and the streets turned into rivers, it rained non stop for 3 days and I saw 2 torandos. When I wanted to leave the ferry was cancelled for 2 days in a row and finally on the third day I was able to catch the ferry and continue my journey.

I took a bus from La Ceiba to Tegucigalpa and then to Managua. When I was on the bus to Managua, the bus broke down 20 mins from the border. I was stuck on the border for about 3 hours. I will never take Tica Bus ever again as that bus ride was the most choatic 10 hours so far on my journey.

Finally when I arrived in Managua at 7 o clock, 3 hours late. I decided to find a hotel and sleep the night and make my way towards Granada in the morning. In the morning I caught a taxi to the micro bus terminal and made my way to Granada.

I am planning to leave tommorow to San Juan del Sur as I heard that this is a good little beach town in which I hope to learn how to surf. I will try to upload pictures, however I am currently having probelms as computers here seem not to want to cooperate.

Here is a video that was made when I was taking my Open Water course in Utila

I will try to upload pictures ASAP
