We`ve made our way to the tiny village of Pamukkale!

It's quite cosy and the locals are very friendly...

We've been going to the Local Cay (chai) shop and have been playing okey with the old men and drinking cay after cay...I also learned how to play pishte, a Turkish card game...

Pamukkale itself was really cool!  A beautiful snowy white landscape!  And for 5 YTL you get entrance to Pamukkale and the Hierapolis ruins...Unfortunately Pamukkale isn't quite as majestic as it once was, because when tourism started booming in Turkey, the government let hotels build on top of the white cliffs and they became very polluted...but the government has cracked down and are working to restore the site...

Whilst on the site, we also sprung the 10 Euro to swim in the hot spring water, for a few hours...it was very relaxing and hopefully now I'm internally cleansed...god knows that I've put a few bad things in my body...

It's quite a beautiful place to visit!  Plus, as pointed out to us, it could very well be one of the biggest graveyards of the ancient Romans...many people went there to be healed by the therapeutic water and no doubt died there from their injuries...we didn't see any ghosts though...

Maybe next time...

The hotel itself was nice for the cost but the food wasn't terribly nice and we paid quite a bit for laundry and it was still wet when we got it over 24 hours later...I wasn't terribly impressed

It's a great place and I recommenbd visiting it...
