We have now made our way (via a ferry and 2 buses) to Thessaloniki, where we are required to take a local bus to the train station and get a train to Bulgaria...guess what the train doesn't go until 6:15 in the morning and we arrived at 11 at night...and to make it even better, they close the train station from 2 to 5 am for cleaning...thus we were relegated outside for 3 hours with a group of angry Bulgarian women, some sketchy men, a woman who was potentially leaving her lover (at least that was our speculation) and a huge white dog...I can only wonder where this adventure will lead me next!
Hopefully to some sleep!
