Since the weather this weekend was a sweltering 45 degrees some fellow students and I decided to take a break from our hard day of studies (something like that anyways) and headed off to Sidi Bou Said which is a beach suburb of Tunis...

We visited the first Sunday here as well but as we received a bit too much attention, this time we played it safe and payed to go to a private beach which we bargained down to 6.5 dinars (down from 10 dinars) which came equipped with beach chairs umbrellas and sweet was nice to be able to swim in a bikini without stares and noises...

We also toured around the town of Sidi Bou Said as well and its incredibly picturesque and touristy...twas lovely and Ill add more on this later...
