Dass das Wetter in Kanada kein Segen ist, habe ich schon bei der ersten Durchquerung feststellen muessen, so auch jetzt, bei der 2. nach Sueden. Ich fahre bis Carmacks, wo ich wegen unbestaendigem Wetter entscheide, nicht die Schotterstrasse Campbell Highway, sondern den bereits gefahrenen Alaska Highway zu nehmen.
In Whitehorse mit Lebensmittel aufgefuellt und E-Mail check ausgefuehrt, entscheide ich mich durch das Regengebiet bis nach Dawson Creek durch zu fahren. Zum Glueck setzte der Regen erst ab Watson Lake ein, vermasselte mir aber wieder eine sehr interessante Route durch ein Gebirge um Liard River.
Ein bisher grosszuegigster (unbekannter) Spender ueberlaesst mir 100$ fuer eine Uebernachtung - Trotzdem kann - nein, WILL ich 25 $ fuer einen Platz zum Campen in Toad River nicht leisten, weshalb ich mich vom Regen nicht weit entfernt in der Natur erhole. Dennoch: Dem Spender sei ein Trullalla!!!

That the weather in Canada supposed to be not a hit, I realized when I moved across the country the first time. So I experienced it same the second time by crossing to south. I drive to Carmacks where the unpredictable weather leads to the decition to take the Alaska Highway instead of the gravel road of Campbell Highway.
In Whitehorse I fill up with food and do a E-Mail check, when I decide to keep on running to cross a rain front down to Dawson Creek. Fortunately it didn't rain untill Watson Lake, but then started, it ruined once again a very interesting route across a mountain range around Liard River.
One of the most generous (unknown) sponsor supported my journey with 100$ to stay in a accommodation at Toad River - nevertheless, I can't - no I WON'T afford a ridiculous 25$ charge for a unpowered place to camp there, why I do so near by in nature. But despite of that, a Trullalla to the sponsor (don't worry if you don't understand, it's only a strange swiss habit to say thank you!).
