Ich schlafe in Alaska ohne Thermounterwaesche und muss sogar das Winterfutter aus der Motorradjacke entfernen, so warm ist es hier. So habe ich mir Alaska wirklich nicht vorgestellt. Auch heute scheint die Sonne und da ich mich erinnere, das die Wetteraussichten in Fairbanks bis fuer die kommenden Tage (ja ich weiss, das muss nichts heissen) relativ schoenes Wetter verspricht, aber auch weil ich um den Midsummer Day herum die Mitternachssonne noerdlich des Polarkreises sehen will, beschliesse ich kurzfristig anstatt nach Valdez nach Fairbanks zu fahren. Wenige Meilen noerdlich von Fairbanks angekommen, muss ich einen Plattfuss des Voerrades in einem Bible Camp hinnehmen, wo ich nun uebernachten und den Schlauch flicken muss.

Vielen Dank an den Betreiber des Camps, dass ich gratis uebernachten durfte und fuer alle Unterstuetzung waehrend der Reparatur!

I sleep without my Thermo Underwear and I even have to remove the winter inlet of my motorbike jacket due to the warmth here. That's really a way I never did imagine Alaska. But also today the sun is shining and because I remember of a period of mostly sunny weather according to a recent forecast (yes I know that doesen't have to mean anything) and because I want to see the midnight sun around midsummerday I decided to go to Fairbanks instead of Valdez. Once arrived a few miles north of Fairbanks I recognized a flat tire just in a Bible Camp, where I now have to stay and to repair the tube.

Thanks to the owner of that Camp for staying for free and all offered support during my repair!
