Welcome to Alaksa.

XXXXX

The entire night it was raining at Haines but it changed to slightly rain in the morning. It wasn't untill I crossed the White River when I missed (obviously) a spectacular scenery along the Kluane Ranges due to the rain and its low hanging clowds, when I was called by a sunshine at that bridge telling me "soon you'll have me". And in fact: After one more heavy rainfall the sun came back.
At fine wheather I finally drove to the border to the USA with Alaska. Absolutely no problem with the Customs- and Passport Control but: There is a wonderful weather with warm temperatures! I ended up at one of the view free Campgrounds at Lakeview Campground attached to a lovely lake and no mosquitoes but much of sunshine! Welcome to Alaska.
