Ich habe 11 Tagen in Vancouver verbracht. 10 davon in einem Hostel der niedersten Kategorie und nicht nur menschlichen Mitbewohnern (Bettwanzen). Nach der erfolgreichen Einfuhr des Motorrades habe ich mich heute mit der Fähre nach Vancouver Island begeben um der Stadt zu entfliehen - jawohl, schon wieder auf eine Insel, aber eine wunderschöne!
Um Abklärungen wegen allfaelligen Reparaturen zu machen, da die groesste BMW Niederlassung sich hier in Victoria befindet, halte ich mich in der Umgebung dieser Stadt auf, um auch gleich meine Ausruestung reisetauglich zu erstellen.

Punkt 6: Service "Mittel" am Motorrad durchfuehren [erledigt]
Punkt 7: Motorrad und Ausruestung in Reisebereitschaft versetzen [erledigt]
Punkt 8: Abfahrt "On the road again" nach Alaska [begonnen]

I stayed 11 days in Vancouver. 10 from them in a Hostel from the lowest category and not only human room mates (bedbugs). After the successful release of my motorbike I took the ferry to Vancouver Island to escape the city - yes on an island again, but what a beautiful one!
To get some work done on the bike at the BMW dealer in Victoria, and to reorganize my equipment for the coming journey I stay around that city.
