well. my last day in argentina before heading back into chile. although i am exited to see san pedro, that is about it. i will definitly miss argentina. the people, the architecture, the feel, the food. and the weather in salta is absolutely amazing. it must be a good 75 degrees farenheit today, with a nice breeze; but it does get cold at night. in short, it´s perfect. i wish that i could see it in summer, when all the leaves and flowers are out. anyway, enough mushy stuff. some of my luck has run out since i found out that there is not an overnight bus to chile, so it will be ten hours, during the day, on a bus that leaves at seven in the morning. i have purchased an alarm clock. in celebration of my last day in the country i decided to treat myself to one last argentinian steak. and i am glad i did. up unto this point, they have been good, but average. this one, at parilla don josé, proved all of the stories true. a perfectly cooked mid rare ribeye, with salad and beer, for the equivilent of USD$5. it doesn´t get any better than that. the rest of the day will be spent soaking up sun, coffee ( i am headed back to the land of nescafé, uuggghh!!) and getting supplies before heading off tomorrow. and cash, since there are no ATM´s there. but i hope to be able to schedule some sort of sightseeing in the area in the short time that i am there. anyway. next update from chile...
