so, about two and a half weeks into this journey i decided that it would be cool to go to Seville and check out the largest town in andalusia. five hours bus ride later, i was there. although Granada was my favorite, Seville was a close second. the Mediterranean feel is very strong here with palm lined boulevards and courtyards tucked back around almost every corner. the people were incredibly nice although the city was quite pricey, seven euro per drink, and there is a charge for tapas here unlike elsewhere in the region. stayed at the hostel nuevo suizo, quaint and clean with a good atmosphere. in seville i definitely got a taste of the spanish nightlife. started out around midnight at a botellion, tons of people in the street with their bottles and mixers and then headed out around 1:30 for dancing. i vaugly remember the sunrise while headed back to my bed...
