Unfortunately Ulster were unable to do it, but we were able to get passports and visas sorted.
When trying to work out where to watch the Ulster match I noticed on facebook an old school friend (Andy Nixon) was also in Bangkok. So we went down to the pub to surprise him and watch the match together. What is very strange about the story is that Andy used to know Charlie when she lived in Portugal. So it was a bit of a double surprise for him.
From Bangkok we took a 20 hour train south to Arau, and then caught a ferry to Langkawi Island.
