Entry 5 of 12 | show all | print this entry

We arrived in Buenos Aires on a LAN flight from Santiago at around 7:00 pm on Monday eve local time. Everyone is tired and looking forward to a rest. We took a cab service into the city, which delivered us to the motel in about half an hour. It was a good reminder of what driving is like in BA. Everyone seems to drive at 100 miles an hour - surprisingly, Argentina does not seem to have any more accidents than any other place.
We checked in at the motel and we were glad to have a rather spacious suite to rest in. The motel was strategically located in the CBD area of BA making fairly easy to get around.
After checking in, we decided to get some dinner and went to a nice cafe /restaurant which made great pizza (very different to OZ variety though - I suppose a bit closer to the Italian kind). We had a good feed and headed back to the motel.
