After I had calmed down after my run in with some frogs, we decided to venture out of the magical lands of the Hobbit & try and find our hometown of Southport. It was a fantastic drive to the South, and our beast didn't let us down. 1500km into her ownership now, and not a wheel wrong so far... Some of the best roads in the world are here in Taz, and that's official (according to us), and it feels like an honour to be driving them again: the streets of the Port will never feel the same again.

We travelled through villages like Huon and Dover: We were very tempted to take a picture of Ben in Dover, but we forgot when it came to it... Eventually we arrived at the top of a mountain, looking into Southport. "It's all downhill from here, Thom" I said. He could only agree in every sense. Southport really wasn't as bad as we expected, in fact it was really REALLY nice! A little holiday town full of old people (strange that, isn't it!), which was completely deserted because it's not in season. Basically we had the town to ourselves, so managed to take some great pics of pristene white-sand beaches... WITH WATER!! and generally say we've been to Southport on another continent.

It stretched maybe 2miles long, and 4houses deep - a tiny village, with no shops, restaurants etc, so we left, and had lunch/tea (4pm, what do you call it?!) in Dover. On the way back we saw a cool forest-fire which made the whole sky really brown, and that's about it!

Not put go-faster stripes on the car yet, but Thom is designing a template tonight apparently!

High Tea
You call it High Tea darlings, and you eat cucumber sandwiches with the crust cut off, drink earl grey tea from china cups with your little finger curled round, and discuss pleasantries. Then you go home for suppa ! Yuk !

Ne1 wanna bet?
Me thinks SPT down under is slightly different than our chavtastic SPT. For a start it seems to be quite close to Dover and also actually in the South. Ne1 feel like betting on how long it takes the car to fall apart, i mean litterally like doors and that comin off and stuff. I'm goin with 2 months!

Re: Ne1 wanna bet?
Good idea dave, except we r 1 step ahead of ur game... WE HAVE DUCKTAPE!! As soon as the door hints that it might fall off we stick it 'to the devo' til it has no chance of falling off!
