Well after a late flight we arrived in Darwin to some very nice immigration officers and headed down to our hostel. Darwin is sooo quiet compared to the asian countries we have been in. There are hardly any cars around at all and it feels like we are in a deserted town at times. Also the area isnt as built up..it feels like what i imagine america to be like.

The weather is still roasting, almnost too hot to do anything. We wish ew had come with a bit more money though to do trips to the outback or to visit alice springs. We havent done a great deal in Darwin as everything seems and is alot more expensive than Asia and the difference is soo hard to get a grip on. We feel very poor here and are worried about our finances for the whole of our stay in australia...although ims ure we will be fine.

We spent most of our two days here relaxing in the weather and having picnics, we also spent alot of time walking and exploring the city. There is quiet alot to do in Darwin, but one of my favourite things was watching the sun set ( at about 5.00pm) the colours in the skys are amazing. We also saw a bush fiure from quiet far away but it did look quiet scary!!

Anyway i cant really remember what we did in darwin, seems like ages ago and craig is the same and doesnt know either he he.
