After a 12 hour train ride, 2 hour bus ride, 1.5 express boat ride and a 30 minute soerng thraw ride we arrived at our horrendous hostel in coral cove...it was full of ants, lizards, hd huge holes in the floor for all the thunderstorm rain to come in and was generally disgusting...so we spent the afternoon looking for another place to stay.

We found a lovely cheap hotel with a pool on lamai beach and 2 mins from the beach, unfortuantely we had not been prepared for the long walk and we both got extremely sunburnt.....

We havent done much in the couple of days we have been here, we have just explored the beach and relaxed a bit.... we also got some snorkels and have been snorkelling round the beach and swimming with fishes other than that we sorted treated it as a holiday from travelling and doing things to save a bit of money as we were only there 2 days really... --

We now head out to phuket on the bus and will stay there for around a week before heading to singapore. We plan to do some more snorkelling, see the james bond island and the beach island and hopefully do an elephant trek and thai cooking class.

Craig has been ill for the last few days so dont think he can take much more spicy food!!! On our last night in samui i had the best thai green curry ever made by a homemade family chef...although it was soo hot i was almost sweating!! I can safely say that w wont miss the strip of tailors asking you if you want a suit, jacket , shirt etc whenever you set foot outside your accommodation.....
