Well we have finally seen the olympic torch relay... its fascinating how the chinese get so into it.... lots of climbing over people and things to get to see the torch (that wasnt really lit that well that youcould see the flame in great detail)... was such a great atmosphere and there was no trouble as far as we are aware ( in terms of the protests etc). The day was made into a red day but we missed out on the free t-shirts so couldn't participate in wearing red ( it doesnt suit me much either), it was also chucking it down for most of the day which was quite nice as it is so hot!!!

Also visited Hong Kong Planning exhuibition centre ( mainly for Craig) which was really interesting and there were huge models of the city which must have taken ages to build. The ladies market just across from our hostel is huge and goes on and on with lots of cool stuff and we found a really interesting shopping centre called Langham place.

Anyway we are saying goodbye to hong kong tommorrow ....beijing here we come...
