I have been traveling for 4 months now.
At this point, I have absolutely no desire to return to the life in the States. I am not interested in our politics, our lifestyle, the consumerism and materialism, media brainwashing, etc.
I want peace and tranquility.
I want to be able to look out into a horizon of a big blue ocean.
I want a community where people appreciate and take care of each other.
I want to laugh with neighbors and friends.
I want to be able to live my life without having my guard up all the time or suspecting people's motives.
I found a home on Lembongan. It feels right here.

Today after the morning dives, my new friend Jack from England and Dawat, a boat crew from our dive company decided to go on a motorcycle ride around town. I hopped on a bike with Dawat and we cruised around this beautiful island again, passing through jungles of palm trees, local villages, seaweed farms, stunning cliffs, and Hindu temples. We had a blast!! Dawat took us to an amazing Hindu temple in a cave, which only locals seem to know about. It was tucked away about 100m in the bushes and no tourists could ever find it on their own. Then Dawat took us to a second temple, but I was wearing a green sarong and apparently you cannot wear green to this temple. Dawat tried to explain why but Jack and I couldn't quite understand his explanation (there was a slight language barrier!)
Jack suggested that I just take my off my sarong and Dawat's shocked face was priceless - he said "no no no!! No bikini to a temple!!" Haha! Obviously.
So I gave my camera to Jack and stayed behind.

After our brief adventure, the boys went to go play soccer and I went home, pondering when I'll be back :-)
Tomorrow, I leave Lembongan and get on a flight to Komodo, where I will "dive, eat, and sleep" on a liveaboard again for 5 days. I will then return to Bali to spend my remaining days of my 30-day visa.
After that, I have a one-way ticket to Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia.
My plan now is to apply for a 60-day visa in Malaysia so that I can return to Indo and do my dive master internship here :-D
