That's pretty much been my life for the last 4 days, and I honestly don't know that life could get any better. The experience of being on a boat for 4 days with other divers who share the love for marine life, eating some amazing cooked meals by the sweetest Thai sisters, being cared for by a crew who were always looking after our every need, visiting some stunning remote beaches, sleeping on the boat deck with a blanket of sea breeze, and diving with sooooooo many types of tropical fish, snakes, sharks, rays and crabs, was just about the best days of my life.
I was initially a bit worried about how comfortable it would be to live on a boat for 4 days, and if I would get sea sick from being on the ocean for so long. Well, I didn't want to get off the boat!! I was so sad for this trip to end.

The boat had a capacity for 20 passengers but our group only had 10. So there was a plenty of space for us to spread out and grab a lounge chair or a hammock. There were 3 bathroom/shower stalls that were clean, and the bunk beds in the cabin were comparable to a sleeper train bed - confined, but decently comfortable.
Compared to a boat that I shared with 27 others on Tao Philippines, this boat was much bigger for just 10! I LOVED the liveaboard experience. It was like Tao, but with an added bonus of scuba diving!!

Our schedule generally looked like this:
7:00 am. Wake up, dive briefing, then dive!
8:00am. Breakfast
11:30 am. Dive briefing and dive #2
1:00 pm. Lunch
3:30 pm. Dive briefing and dive #3
4:30 pm. Snack
6:30 pm. Dive briefing and dive #4
8:00pm. Dinner (and a beer!)

In between dives, people did their own thing, from sleeping to reading a book. The staff were SO amazing. The boat crew did everything from helping us set up our diving gear to serving us dinner. The diving crew was fun, but more importantly they were great dive guides who always cared for our safety first and foremost. I was incredibly impressed with the professionalism all around. I can't wait to do it again!!
My next liveaboard will be in Indonesia next month. I was going to sign up for a 3 day trip, but after this experience I want to do 6 days. Plus the dive guides here tell me Indonesia diving is phenomenal (even better than here!).
Oooooh I am so excited already.
I am SO happy to be back in the ocean :-)
