"Romanesque style Trinity Church is adjacent to the mirror-surface John Hancock tower, New England's tallest building. The church, built in 1877, is a National Historic Landmark."
                                       -from a Klein Post Card

Sunday morning and we were determined to attend church. From what I had read and seen, I really wanted to go to Trinity Church.  We got on the Partners Bus about 9 AM and headed to North Station. There we got on the Green Line to Copley Square. We were really into this public transportation thing by now! After a cheap breakfast at Burger King, we attended the service which began at 11:15. The church is Episcopal---VERY beautiful! There was a very interesting tour after worship led by Carla. She said Trinity Church is one of the 10 most admired structures in the U. S.

After the church tour, we walked to the Prudential Sky Observatory and bought City Passes.  The elevator was speedy to the 50th floor. The view was spectacular! There were audio sets and numbers all around. When you punched in the numbers, the recording described something special you could see below. It was very cool!

We were starting to get a little hungry so we went to the 52nd floor to check out the Top of the Hub Restaurant. We decided to have lunch there and even got a table by the window. John had a pasta dish and I had a spinach salad. We both enjoyed our meals.

After a quick stop at the HUGE Barnes and Noble, we walked back to the Public Library, only to find it was closed on Sunday. By that time we just headed to the T station to get our new Charlie passes and then back to the wharf to catch the Inner Harbor Ferry.

We had dinner at the Navy Yard Bistro back in Charlestown, disappointing for sure! We ordered shrimp scampi that tasted like it had no garlic! Oh well, at least we used our 15% discount coupon.
I was excited to be going to Plimoth Plantation tomorrow!
