"Retirement is like a long vacation in Las Vegas. The goal is to enjoy it to the fullest, but not so fully that you run out of money."
                                                    -Jonathan Clements

Our second day in Vegas. We had breakfast at Denny's right across the street and then went to Tix4Tonight.  We purchased vouchers for "Legends" at Harrah's and a discounted meal at The Range Steakhouse at Harrah's. Next we actually had to go to Harrah's to exchange the vouchers for tickets. And we walked the strip 'til our feet were sore!

We had lunch at Table 10, an Emeril Legasse restaurant in the Palazzo Hotel. We both enjoyed our food very much.  Refueled and refreshed, we walked some more---in and out of the Wynn, Bellagio, Paris and Caesar's Palace Hotels. They are all humongus and so beautiful!  We were awed by the gorgeous colored glass ceiling at the Bellagio and the view from the "Eiffel Tower" in the Paris. We browsed the Fashion Show Mall---more designer shops than you can shake a stick at!  Brighton Collectibles is one of my favorites and there is ONE in Orlando. It seemed there was one on every corner along the Strip.

The 7 PM show of "Legends" was really fun!  There were impersonators of Toby Keith, Whoopi, Elvis, Donna Summer, Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson. We weren't that impressed with Toby (maybe should be Tubby) but MJ amazed us with his moves!  Lady Gaga was so cute and likeable.  Check out the photos!

After the show, we had dinner at the The Range Steakhouse. I had filet, 10 ounces---way too big, and medium rare---way too rare. John ordered a ribeye which he said tasted just like a ribeye is supposed to taste.  The meal was over $100 even with our discounted $43.  Yikes!  Did a friend really tell me food is cheap in Las Vegas??

On the way back to the TI we saw the dancing fountains at the Bellagio. Nice but Disney does some things that are just as impressive. There was some kind of firey show at The Mirage that was pretty cool! We were exhausted by the time we fought the crowds and ready to crash!
