It was a fantastic night of Laughter and Luxury for the benefit of Learning.
We started the evening with a presentation by Jennie Orchard who talked about Room to Read and its plans of expansion in Australia. Jennie is spearheading the Room to Read effort in Australia. We were the first fundraiser held on this continent! We even got media coverage in the Manly Dailey!
Comedian Chris Radburn lifted up the spirits with his stand up comedy show, followed by a fashion parade by our adorable, beautiful volunteer models. Last, but not least, our auctioneer Vic Larusso was explosive! The largest auction item flew out for $560! Of course, everybody enjoyed the Raffles at the end

. We had many prices to go, including the International raffle. ½ dozen boutique Shiraz from VineCrest goes to Peter Talluto in New York! I am deeply touched by the generosity of everyone who got involved! Some people not only donated, but also worked all night to make this evening a success. Make-up artist Kerry Gentle, spend most of the evening in the back room, working with the models.
And the models looked sunning! Thank you Simone, Carolina, Ashleigh, Sophie, Caroline, Juliana, and Denise. You are beautiful not only on the outside!
Rasha spent the whole night photographing. She has put all the photos on her website and had committed to send 10% of every print you order from those pictures to Room to Read /100 Girls Back to School. Don't waste time and order some (instructions below!)

She worked before and after work, she put her personal life on hold, she planned, she co-coordinated, she called people she knew and people that she didn't know. She got all her friends and family involved. She designed, printed, cut, distributed, picked up, arranged, delivered... she was AMAZING...
