Today, I almost had an accident at the only crossroad in town. I came to a STOP sign at a T-section. There were stopped cars at both sides of the main road. One of them wanted to turn into my road, crossing the way of the other car. Both drivers were exchanging pleasantries and giving each other way, so I though for a second - with so much good will, something terrible is bound to happen. Slightly destructed by the unusual site of road politeness (not sure is such a term even exist), I started turning into the main road when the sudden and unexplained attention of all patrons of the bar at the corner disturbed me. The explanation arrived couple of seconds later, delivered by the squeaking sound of car breaks. I turned left and saw the front of a green car (unknown make) centimeters from the left side of my car. I had looked left just a second ago, but in the wrong lane! I yelled: "Sorry, sorry, sorry, I didn't see you!" Guess what the gall driving the greet car said?! "No worries honey, it happens all the time". !?!! How cool is that?!
Oh, and it is true. The ice is melting!
