If I had to make a generalization about Israeli (and we all know I don't have to:), I'd say they are the biggest flirts ever - guys and girls alike. It takes the an Israeli guy about 3 minutes to go from intro to coffee/drink/dinner invitation. Some may say aggressive...I'd say efficient:) Israeli are friendly and direct. We got along very well.
I was very lucky to have my friends Maya, Omri and Asaf to give me the insight scoop. I met bunch of other people through them and we partied it off to the sunset. Tel Aviv has a great nightlife and social scene - from the open air café's on Rothschild avenue, through the beach front chill bars, to the large clubs at the Port. I went to couple of art openings and an open air movie at the beach that was showing Chinese epic, translated both in Hebrew and English. I had several cocktails at the beach infront of Maya's a admiring the sunset and even went for a sunset run on the promenade, towards Old Jaffa. It has been real beach/party experience.

Urban Backpacking in Tel Aviv
Talking about Tel Aviv's nightlife, consider also a backpacking trip to Tel Aviv. I was inspired by a site for hiking in Israel, hostels in Israel and cheap stay, named BackpackingIsrael. Hiking Tel Aviv: http://www.backpackingisrael.com/content/view/187/63/
