Greetings from Barcelona again. This is my last day here, tonight we take a train to Nice, France, on the French Riviera. We partied till dawn every single night we were here, thatīs six days in a row. Can you guys believe that? That includes the night we got into town, around 10:30 pm.
Last night of course we went out again. I wasnīt even intending to go. I was about to do some laundry and had only my VB shirt left to wear. I was dressed in flip-flops, Justenīs swim trunks (donīt worry I didnīt go commando) and that shirt. We met three American girls on the street, though, who wanted to take us to this Absinthe bar so we went. It was a bad idea, they had no clue where this place was, they didnīt even know what street it was on or what the name was. So these ditzes wasted about an hour of our time.
Last night was a posers night. Justen was practicing his Italian American act. He got our Italian roommate to teach him some Italian lines he could use with girls in Italy. All day yesterday he carried around his Italian notes trying to memorize the lines. I have never seen him with such concentration, normally he is a pretty erratic person.
He also bought an Italian soccer jersey and wore it out last night. He attempted some lines with this Italian girl with not much luck. She thought he was entertaining but kept backing away from him.
I was also being a poser, Iīm ashamed to say. It was by accident though. My VB shirt attracted lots of inquiring Aussies. One girl asked me if I was from Australia and I just went with it, using my best Australian accent. It worked, miraculously, and I tricked her. Later on some Aussie guys told me that I shouldnīt wear a VB shirt unless I was Australian. They were trying to figure me out and asked me to say something, so I went, ĻWhat do you want to hear, mate?Ļ in my best Australian accent. They cheered and were satisfied that I was an Aussie through and through.
Barcelona was a trip alright, I became Australian, Justen became Italian American, we partied every night till dawn, met lots of American and Canadian girls, perfected our hand signals, and Mike danced with a dude.
Yes, Mike danced with a dude for a minute, no matter how hard he tries to deny it, it happened. He was trying to get this guy away from this girl but ended up dancing with the guy in the attempt. They both looked really happy though! We always joke that Mike is gay but we never had evidence like this!

Hasta Nice amigos,
