... after arriving in London and scrambling out of the web of the greater London airport area on bikes, which was quite a task, we cycled along the beautiful, hilly, green coast toward Dover, England, and ferried across to France, Calais. Lots of bike paths in that England! It has been an amazing week-plus on the road through the French countryside, headed southerly and happily 'bush camping' as a french denim clad monk called it.
Some rains and lots of delightful campsites later, we are in Amiens, France, headed toward Spain... The French pastries and baguettes are second to none! We're breaking in our gear and fixing minor repairs and mumbling along with our forgotten and never-learned French, but otherwise healthy and doing great... Go ahead and check out our photo log and stay in touch!

Hi from South Dakota prairie dog hunter. Lucie will understand. Glad to get your postings. Last year bought a new, good (very, very good) bike and am enjoying pretending to be a real rider. Will follow your adventure with interest. Didn't think you would live through Central America (I spent too much time in Honduras and Guatemala). Glad you are on the road again. Regards, Lyman
