How many ways are there to say, "I love France?"

We are finishing up a week in a beautiful apartment in Paris, where every day began and ended with a visit to the boulangerie next door for bagettes and pain au chocolat.  I'd be shocked (and really bummed) if anyone in France has every tried the Atkins or South Beach diets.  Parisian women have this effortless elegance about themselves, and it is affirming to see them eating huge sandwiches.  It's a nice respite from the American way of looking at food and acknowledging that savoring pleasurable food in moderation won't make you fat.

That being said, I have always found French and American sensibilities to be similar.  People here are affectionate toward each other, as greetings often begin with a warm handshake and a smile.

Left Blank
Yes you are at the Left Bank, but you have not yet blogged it. So How did I get a comment on your blog before you even posted it? God gave me dominion over all the electronic equipment and networks, that's how! If you get a chance, bring me back something from Pig Alley!

Au revoir,

Re: Left Blank

Katharine picked Eastern Europe to go vegetarian on us. Her condition has steadily worsened, from no meat to no chicken to no seafood, and now extending to no milk that is not skim, no whole eggs, etc. You know how easy it is to get skim milk in France, right?

She is not yet no sugar or no chocolate.

More blogging has happened. Please check the results. Have you considered next March in Oz?
