We had already used this travel day on our EuRail pass, so we decided, "why not go to Belgium?" We put our bags in a locker in the train station and set off. It took around 3 hours to get to the lovely city of Brugge. I've noticed they use a lot of bricks in that area. All of the buildings and sidewalks are made with them, and most of the streets in Brugge were cobblestone. When we first walked out of the train station, we were in a fair. People were selling cotton candy and caramel apples, and there were lots of game stands. It started raining as we were walking through. We went on a busy little street with lots of cute shops, and found a square where we got some pizza at a restaurant. There is a church in Brugge that supposedly has the blood of Jesus. We entered the tiny church, which ended up being right on the other side of the square, and walked up the stairs. I stood around, wondering "where's the blood?" until
