Morning was another picture perfect event.  Still cold 11oC.  Breakfast was cooked on a camp fire which Kirstyn helped with.  Bacon & eggs yum. Breakfast in the outback

Spectacular cliffs from Renmark onwards and large lake areas, dry due to the drought.  From Blanchtown the terrain gained more variation and the plains were left behind.  However the sky looked black.  Lunch (11am) at Nurioopta was very quick as the temperature plummeted to below 15oC and the rain started. We went right through the Barossa and did not visit a single winery.  The closer to Adelaide we got the worse the weather got.  Wind, rain, cold.  We headed for Seacliff, on the coast south of the airport. We are camped here for two nights. Did a shop to stock up.  Got to plan the next stage more closely to get our supplies right.  We are set up to counter the wind but as luck will have it the wind changed direction whilst cooking bringing the rain in on the stove and kitchen.  Thank goodness for the bottle of red.  All gone.  Cooked, fed and inside warm and dry we plan to look over Adelaide city tomorrow.  Hopefully the weather will improve tomorrow.
