Suzy Q and I got up and went for a run.  Managed to pass both sets of walkers this time and did close to 10km.  When we were eventually picked up I couldn't help but ask whether or not they left camp half an hour late just to make us run more.

We arrived into Ouagadougou around 11ish.  Drove to our proposed destination of OK Inn... unfortunately they were due a group of school kids the next day so we weren't allowed to stay.

Instead they opted to show us another camp ground just around the corner, past the cemetery come rubbish tip.  Whether you could call it a campground I'm unsure.  Brothel yes.  Unbelievable dump yes but camp ground no.  We drove back to OK Inn and insisted they let us stay for one night.  Thankfully they did.

The hotel is an oasis located at the back of a truck park.  It has a pool, aircon bar, restaurant, wifi and mini golf.  Us pikies took up residence in the mini golf.  Walking into the bar restaurant was a mistake as they had the most delectable buffet there ever - meat cuts of every type, roasted duck, salads, cheese so much cheese - brie and cheddar all the stuff you take for granted until you don't have it any more... and the dessert selection - my goodness.  I could have taken a photo.  Instead I left Sarah, Martin, Kristy, Josh and Rachel in there to stuff themselves silly whilst I wondered back to the truck and tucked into a tuna sandwich.  Yeah doesn't quite have the same ring does it???!!  Damn budgets!!

Due to Rach having contracted pootomouth she was unable to do cook group so I filled her spot with Suze and Catherine.  Shopping with Catherine was a breeze.  So much easier when someone speaks fluent French.  Suze and I just followed like sheep and carried the bags.

My flip flops broke on another shopping mission so I had to secure it with one of Sarah's hair ties until I could find a replacement pair... which came in the form of some chavtastic bling white ones.  You gotta take what you can in these parts!

The other truck arrived in the afternoon.  We all prayed that Roxette wouldn't be blasted till all hours.
