Lukla - Kathmandu
Flight out of Lukla was a nightmare. Tip to all ye out there - ALWAYS FLY YETI AIR. Trevor flew Yeti. We flew Sita. W arrived at 7am as told to - no one checking in bags, no on saying anything. Thankfully managed to find German bakery opposite airport to settle our slight hangovers. Some Aussi boys told us Kathmandu airport had been closed, causing delays. We heard other rumors Sita wasn't flying. Not a nice prospect.
After a while some planes started coming in, Yeti no Sita. So we said our goodbyes to Trevor and watched in envy as he boarded his plane and took off.
4 hours later, freezing to death and bored out of our brains, we finally saw our plane land. 10 min after that we were taking off and heading for warmer climates. Yippeeeee.
